今回はOSPFのRetransmission Packet Pacing Timerについて解説します。

Retransmission Packet Pacing Timer

OSPFでは再送キューに複数のLSUパケットが存在する場合、Retransmission Packet Pacing Timer間隔でLSUパケットを再送します。

 

実機での動作確認

検証内容

R1のg2、R2のg2でOSPF Area 0を有効にします。
Network TypeにはPoint-to-Pointを使用します。

Retransmission Packet Pacing Timerのパラメータを確認します。

Retransmission Packet Pacing Timerの変更前

OSPFプロセスの状態確認

R1のRetransmission Packet Pacing Timerが66ミリ秒であることが確認できます。

Retransmission Packet Pacing Timerの変更後

R1のRetransmission Packet Pacing Timerを100ミリ秒に変更します。

追加した設定

Retransmission Packet Pacing Timerはtimers pacing retransmission <milli-second>コマンドで変更可能です。

OSPFプロセスの状態確認

R1のRetransmission Packet Pacing Timerが100ミリ秒に変化したことが確認できます。
